On October 2-3, Yamato attended the “Sifted Summit” in London. Sifted Summit is the largest conference event in the UK, bringing startups and people interested in entrepreneurship and innovation from around the world together to share insights on the latest trends and to help promote innovation.

The event “Yamato pitch : Hardening global supply chain through cutting-edge tech” was organized by the KURONEKO Innovation Fund, co-hosted by Intralink, UK- APAC Tech Growth Programme. Under the theme, a total of six excellent UK startups were selected to pitch their innovative solutions using their own technology and knowledge to the challenges faced by the logistics industry in Japan.

The winner is Dexory, a company leveraging robotics and AI to visualize inventory status and to enhance management efficiency. Yamato plans to collaborate with Dexory to tackle challenges not only within the company but also throughout the broader Japanese logistics industry.
